It's commonly believed that white people live way better in Africa than black ones, but not when the white skin color occurs due to the lack of skin pigment. Scorching sun and superstitions make Tanzanian albino's life a living hell, where they become prey for African shamans and voodoo priests who use albino body parts in very cruel and bloody sorcery rituals.
The situation in Tanzania is quite bad:; it's one of the poorest countries in the world, where serious crimes and sinister murders happen every day. But, for the last couple of years, police started registering very brutal crimes, even for this region; crimes in which the victims of thiese killings were people with unusual for Africa physical traits for Africans: white skin, transparent eyes, and yellow or ashen hair.
About 10 years ago, local charlatans started spreading false information about albinos for their benefit: shamans claim that if Tanzanians use albino hair in their fishnet, so their fish catch will become bigger,; if they bury albino bones near a mine, bones will become diamonds,. tThey also think that sex with albino womaen can cure them from AIDS.
In that dangerous atmosphere, it's very hard for African albinos to survive – every day they fight for their lives because they are very profitable among human-traffickers who sell them for thousands of dollars, when the average Tanzanian salary is about 300-400$ per year. One time, in the very deep villages of Tanzania, one man even beheaded his own daughter and tried to sell her head to a Burundian shaman, who was ready to pay as much money as her head weightsed.
To make matters worse, "African Hollywood" in Nigeria spreading false information about so called "zeru-zeru" (Tanzanian "ghosts"), by saying that albinos can't die for real. Albinos here become victims of mockery, abusinge, and inhumane crimes:; gthey aret brutally dismembered, beheaded, or thakingve their scalps oftake.
Tanzanians authorities try to regulate the situation and illuminate those ruthless genocide crimes. Bbut it's almost impossible to do so, because this conflict is a result of blind superstitions and bloodlust curve for money, which is very hard to fight.
Many albino kids go to school only under the protection of their body guards. Nonetheless, that measure doesn't work properly, either, because it's very easy to bribe police officers. For the last year, superstitions and murders spreaded to KCongo, Nigeria, Burundui, and Uganda. The amount of albino refugees who seek asylum in Europe, Asia, and America increases day by day.
Nowadays, this bloody business is illegal in Tanzania and fanyorne caught involved in albino body organs trade wereas arrested- more than 150 people. Among those people there are also corrupt police officers who cooperated with criminals. But the problem is that shamans and their rich clients are very influential in their villages, and therefore it's very hard to fdindscover them out.
