I'm writing to you regarding one of your students, Maddi Brown. Her TikTok account recently came to my attention, and the content of her videos has been concerning, to say the least. I have attached the videos below, and as you can see, they are intentionally spreading transphobic hate and rhetoric.
I feel the need to write this email, as I do not believe your school stands for such hatred and discrimination. Everyone has the right to an opinion, but transphobia (and prejudice, in general) does not count as an opinion. She has blatantly disrespected transgender and non-binary people, and I hope that you share my discontent with such behaviour.
Whilst I understand that what Miss Brown may do out of school may not be of your concern, I urge you to think of how she represents the school and I hope that you come up with (and share if possible) a plan to deal with this behaviour. Transphobia and homophobia should not go unpunished.
