WasIt was a normal day, or so I thought. One day during the 8th grade, I was sitting in class and it looked like.
My my eye was looking at my nose and I thought my contact was just messed up, so I asked the teacher to go to the bathroom and fix my contact. I went to the bathroom and, took my contact out and put it back in, and nothing happened. It still looked like I was looking at my nose. I was really worried and just puzzled because I had no idea what was happening to my eye and I had no idea how to fix it. So, I called my mom to bring me another contact so could try that because I also had a wrestling meet that night.
Then theThe next morning, I had an eye appointment at the marysville walmartMarysville Walmart eye center, so my dad took me. .weWe got there and they looked into my eye and they told me there was a slight tear and I would need laser surgery right away at Midwest Retina. soSo we went there and my mom came and met up with me and my dad because I was scared, so I asked her to come and there. There they told me that my retina was detached and I would need surgery for it and that I was done with wrestling for the season. whenWhen she started telling me all of this, I couldn’t help myself and I started to cryingcry. I was just so upset because I was having such a good season and now I just had to quit. itIt felt like I was just letting my team down, but I had no choice.
