This is to bring to your attention poor housekeeping services provided at C5-2. During my daily safety rounds this morning, while conducting a follow up on a complaint of a strong odor from yesterday within the C5-2 unit. On, on entering C5-2 unit, I realizednoticed that there was dirt hovering at the entrance of the unit, the floors looklooked very dirty and the nursing stationsstation looks dusty. I noticealso noted that nurses wherewere trying to move and clean around rooms as well. I had to ask the charge, and she did explainexplained that this has been ongoing. She has placed several phone calls to no avail, reporting that there is no night service for trash. Patients are complaining, and trash over flowis overflowing in the unit on a day to daydaily basis. That theThe cleaners only come in aand clean lounges, instead of patientspatients' rooms, and then leave.
