In Mexico, all the tvTV wires are old &and wdo not work as well. TvV helps you see what is going on in the new.s, Sso Mexico has a plan for the whole country and needs everyone to use new wires. They will all start using new wires on the same day. But there's a new problem: the new wires don't work with the old tvTVs. So Mexico has another plan: to give away 10 million free tvTVs to people who cannot afford the new tvTV. Mexico is setting up big tents all over the country. Fowhere people who cannot afford the new tvTV can get one. People can go to the tents to get free TVs. Each family will get only one not two only one. TV. Workers will check their names. They willand look at their fingerprints, too. The United States used to have the same old wire problem, but that changed in 2009. The U.S. fixed the problem a different way. Some people bought new TVs. Out Other people did not have enough money., Sso the United States gave them special conversion boxes so the new wires can fitould work with the old tv’TVs. By the U.S doing that, the U.S saved a lot more money.
is mMexico should have given the people who cannot afford the new tvTV the special boxes instead of giving 10 million tvTVs away for free. so tThe average of what mMexico spent for all the new tvTVs is a whopping $1,450,000,000 for all the new tv, but if mMexico had gotten the special boxes instheatd, mexicot would have saved $1,050,000,000. So, yes, iI think mMexico lost trillions of dollars that went down the drain.
