The plane had a pretty rough landing. I heard the sound of seatbelts being released and people getting up. I hate flying and I don’t normally travel this way.
Bbut, Dylan, my best friend, forced me to ride this monster. I normally would travel by sea or land. Just not air. I get woozy up there. He said that it would be faster. I knew that, and I wouldn’t risk my life for speed.
Everyone quickly got out, well not as quick as I amdid.
After getting off the plane and picking up our luggage, we ordered a cab. And here I am now, sitting, my butt hurting and having to deal with the taxi smell. I can’t wait to get to the hotel.
People who meet me for the first time would think I’m a spoiled brat whose parents gives her everything.
They’re right, I am a spoiled brat whose parents gives her everything, but I’m a good one. At least, that’s what I convince myself.
The cab makes a screeching voice. A whole full hour of sitting here, and we are finally here. I get out of the car while Dylan pays the driver. I see a huge sign saying ‘KALANI RESORT AND SPA’.
I smile and breathe the fresh air. Dylan’s back over there having a hard time carrying my luggage. Back in Manhattan, he asked me the purpose of bringing four bapieces of luggage to just a trip while he’s just bringing one. I got a little excited.
We enter the lobby where we came face-to-face with an unusual, bald man. He has a huge grin on his face, and Dad warned me about him. Dad said he’s the owner of the resort.
“Welcome to the Kalani Resort and Spa!” he says while putting his arms up in the air.
“Well that was dramatic,” Dylan chuckles.
“Ah, you must be Eleanor! Emily and Bruce’s daughter. aAm I right?” I nod nervously.”I knew them!”
I notice that Baldy has a name tag on his chest that is written ‘Bob’. Just Bob. Nice name.
Bob smiled, “Here drink some mango juice.” We were both given a flower necklace in, which youis called Lei there, and a refreshing mango juice.
Everyone’s quiet, so, I decide to make some sound. “Bob?” I ask, “When did you meet my parents?”
“Why on their honeymoon of course,” He says.
Dylan and I then take a sip of the juice. “You know, back then, they received a lot of noise complaints.”
I choke and Dylan spits out his drink. Bob looks at him in disgust, “Please do not ruin my perfectly clean floor.”

"Here it is," Bob shows us to our rooms, "Why did you order the two bedroom suite when you both can just sleep in one bed?"
"We're just friends,." We both say immediately and at the same time.
Dylan and I have been friends as long as I couldan remember. Literally, Our mothers met at the hospital after giving birth to us. They haunged out and became best friends. We practically grew up together. That's why we're in the same suite. Dad doesn't trust me sleeping alone and the only guy he could trust is Dylan.
