Ms. Jarvis stated that she used marijuana all throughout her pregnancy with her daughter, Hope. Ms. Jarvis says that she last used marijuana movrer than 6six months ago. Doue to her drug use;, Ms. Jarvis currently has an open CPS case. She was asked to complete parenting classes for 6six weeks every Tuesday, and drug classes. She is making up the parenting classes because when she first took them, she missed one day, and was asked to redo the classes. When she is not home, her mother or Shawn's grandmother watches the baby. She has no weapons in the home. Ms. Jarvis has no history of domestic violence as an adult or child. When her children are older, she plans to discipline them with timeouts and groundings. Ms. Jarvis stated that she was diagnosed as bi-polar when she was 6six years old. When she is stressed, she smokes cigarettes, goes on a walk and listens to music, or just asks for help. She has her family as a support system. Ms. Jarvis was asked to complete a drug test by June 25, 2016. She provided two references, Cindy Kettlewell (713-249-2701) and Shannon Cunningham (832-286-7528). Regarding the allegations, Ms. Jarvis did admit to having an open CPS case. She stated that her daughter, Hope, is living with her mother, and that she did drugs throughout the entire time she was pregnant with Hope. Ms. Jarvis stated that she has not used marijuana in over six months, and that she is currently completing her services with CPS. FThe family was placed on a safety plan. SThe safety plan states that the parents will agree to take drug test within 24 hours. SThe safety plan also states that paternal great -grandmother will continue to be a monitor in the home.
