Dear Ms. Johnson,

I am writing to express my strong desire to intern at AS/COA. I actively follow AS/COA, and look forward to receiving the newsletters. I am excited about the work that you do. I am able and willing to put in additional hours, and can stay on-board for a year. Like many Miamians, I come from a Hispanic background, with Spanish being my native tongue. I spent six months volunteering and studying in Nicaragua, and during my time there assisted a hotel in translateing a website from English to Spanish while also conducting tours in English and Spanish. As an Iinternational Rrelations major, the majority of my courses have revolved around researching, analyzing, writing, and, in some cases, presenting on various topics,. tThus, I believe I can aptly compile and produce company profiles. As for offering logistical support, I have been active on- campus, and have offered support to various organizations. I have assisted in coordinating a successful event that generated movere than a hundred attendants.

I hope that I may get a chance to lend a hand to the behind -the -scenes efforts. Thank you for your consideration.
