Along with the unit operations, as the heart of many industrial processes in which it is present, being directly responsible for the economic success or failure of a chemical plant.
The reactional process is one operation that is present in many industries.
The proposal of this work is to study two geometry of mixing and analyze the isothermal fluid flow in a PFR and T rReactor.
It used the computer program, Salome, to generate the mesh and Ansys CFX to obtain the results of numerical simulations.
With the simulation results it was possible to assess the quality of mathematical models used, comparing them with the analytical data PFR.
It was also possible to predict and analyze the hydrodynamic and reactional flow behaviour.
The simulation results have proven consistent and the relative errors found were small, increasing the reliability of the results.
