In the beginning of Greek mythology, there were many gods. However, none of them were like the God of the Bible. Unlike the God of the bBible, the plethora of Greek gods named in Ovid’s Metamorphoses were far from perfect, and had major problems with anger and civil war.
Unlike the Bible, min Metamorphoses, there is are bumanch ofy gods. Some of these gods haved problems, and doid not know how to control their authority and power. As an example, over one man's wickedness, Zeus decidesd to ask Poseidon to flood all of earth. Zeus flooded the earth and killed many, except for a couple named Damon and Pyrrha. He killed them all for one man’s fault. This clearly shows Zeus’s uncontrollable anger and want for revenge, which shows he was imperfect. Another example of the Greek god’s negative side, was that many would masquerade around as mortals, and even if married would even have affairs with married mortals. You would certainly think theat gods weare supposed to be looked up to as a role models, but it was the exact opposite. They were just as bad as humans, and maybe worse.
