Good morning everyone,

As we all know, the bcbsBCBS nNeighborhood pPlan has been a little particular about their coverages and processes. We have been running into issues, when our providers are not assigned as their pcpatient's PCP. Referrals can not be processed, itas BCBS does not allowed us to process them because we are not listed as their pcp,PCP. wWe are then not grettceiving reimbursement, back ifthough we've already seen the patient, becanduse the pcpPCP was not changed atbefore the time of service.

Moving forward, we need to start making sure that patients harve changinged their pcpPCP, to which ever provider they will be seeing, before their appointment by calling BCBS and verifying,. iIt is now takinges until the beginning of the followinextg month for BCBS to change their pcpPCP in their system,. iIn those cases, we'll need to cancel those appointments and re schedule untilo the following month when the PCP listing has changed.
