I did not know much about this topic or field before reading thise article. After reading thise article, by Edzard Ernest, I learned about complementary alternative medicine, which has become important in the worldwi, ande is ustilized worldwide. On the other hands, there is much information which much of themis distorted and misleading. I learned about Eevidence-Bbased medicine (CAM) which that is against absurdity. Finally, I learned about integrated medicine that has been suggested also  a possibility e replacement tfor (EBM). In this article, one thing surprised me about acupuncture. The author has written that it is not natural about sticking needles into the body; or herbal treatment has toxic effect on some peof thplem. On the other hand, anothe one more things that surprised me is  that there are inot sufficienought research funds to conduct studies, and most practitioners of CAM hasve no idea how to research.
