Do you want to teach or do you to want to play? I know they sound
somewhat similar but therethey're not. There are some pros who can do both.
Not but
not many can do both well, I’ve tried and have been successful, to a point.
I think it’s good to do both because you relate to what the player whatis there
feeling because you’ve also experienced it also. Students also like to see that
theretheir coach is still competing in tournaments. As time goes on, most coaches stop playing.
Remember when you cancel a lesson to go play a tournament.tournament? It’s like a doctor saying to you, I think I’ll play golf today and reschedule you later? Notlater. It is not the greatest feeling if your are a student trying to improve. It’s important to find your priorities quickly. Have you been around someone that has taught you?
Oryou or is your knowledge from books or You-Tube?YouTube? It’s important
to view as many lessons with other pros as possible. That’s where
you learn your craft, stealing othersother's ideas.
