Some people who are less affected by the side effects of social media have more chancesa greater chance of understanding that thesethose standards are quite impossible or extremely difficult to reach, but. However, those who are more affected by the side effects of social media will do anything to reach them, and have the chance ofare more prone to developing anorexia, bulimia, body dysmorphia, depression, and anxiety. According to Dolla Miller, a mental health activist, 20 million women suffer from eating disorders and 10 million men suffer from eating disorders. She also stated that an eating disorder centre in Chicago revealed that 30-50 percent of teens have used social media to support their eating disorderdisorders. A study in 2011 by the University of Haifa revealed that the more time teenage girls spent on social media websites like Facebook, the greater was their risk was of developing eating disorders and negative body images.
