This is a pivotal moment in my career and I am writing to apply for the position of trainee solicitor, in Sullivan & Cromwell LLP starting in 2021. Already Having alreadyhaving a degree in Social Anthropology, last September I graduated with aan MA degree from University of York. This year helped me to realise what I want to do in my life: to be a successful solicitor. My will to study law is a mature decision, which came after studies of different degrees, which prepared me to get involved with a science so responsible for people’s lives.
After months of research and consideration, I concluded that Sullivan & Cromwell LLP is the firm that I want to be part of of. The reasonreasons why I am especially interest ofinterested in your law firm are both the core law aresareas that you specialise in, alongside with your respect to traineefor trainees with a non lawnon-law degree, as you deal with them as future associates of your firm. The supervision you provide by partners who are leaderleaders in their fields, would mebe significant in my future career as I am excited to get involved arein commercial real estate and intellectual property.
