I am writing to you to convince you to allow students to bring backpacks to class with them. I am writing this because students always forget to get something from their lockers for their classes, and then they have to go back to their lockers, and it wastes class time. The first reason is, having students bring backpacks to class would benefit students and teachers. Students wouldn't have to worry about going to their lockers, and they would be on time for classes. BringBringing backpacks to classes could prevent them from being tardy. It also takes a long time to go through the hallways to get their class items and still get to class on time.

The second reason is it also helps keep student'sstudents' belongings off the desks, so there is plenty of room to work. TheirThe students could hang their backpacks off their chairs. We also use backpacks on the bus to keep things tidy and safe. The students wouldn't have to have their big books on their desks all the time.

The third reason is, currently, students have to carry every single notebook, binder, and foldersfolder to all eight classes. They also have to make several trips to their lockers. Teachers would be happy with the students because they would be on time. The students also wouldn't have to worry about being late for class. The students could get to class and have a couplecouple more minutes to get ready for class.
