Dear partner,
Pertaining to the Agoda VIP promotions issue, we would like to request for reimbursement, as we never agreeagreed on the promotion. We have already made a few complaints in the past regarding the promotion that was implemented by Agoda without our consent. However, the same problem has again occurred today. We really hope that Agoda can really look into this matter seriously.
Secondly, we have notified Agoda (make(made a phone call to Agoda partner service, report in YCS and email) immediately after we found out the rate havehas been marked down in the Agoda prepaid voucher, which we received via email. There was noNo one attended to our problem, and the reservation still continued. We were forced to stop selling the room in order to avoid more bookingbookings to be affected by the promotion.
Besides that, we have also marked down the rate for every room in Agoda in order to attract more bookingbookings, i.e. Standard Double Room (From RM89 to RM69), Standard Triple Room (From RM105 to RM89), Standard Twin Room (From RM99 to RM79), and Standard Family Room (From RM173 to RM145) without knowing that Agoda has implemented the Agoda VIP promotion. The net rate that we received for a standard double room from Agoda is RM 75.65, RM58.65 (after markedmarking down the room rate), RM49.85 (the implementation of Agoda VIP). The net rate RM49.85 per room that we collect from Agoda dodoes not even able to cover our electricity, water, and workersworkers' fees. This incident has greatly affected our business. In addition, we later found out that there is ‘zero’ promotion shown in the Agoda YCS promotion column as attached in the picture.
