• Coordinate and cooperate with operationoperations for maintenance activities like fault isolation and repair of all divisional equipment and associated auxiliary equipment.
• Follow up with SOP and report unsafe condition andconditions, act upon tothe situation to achieve goal ofthe zero harm objective.
• Ensure availability of resources needed to meet goals and objectives utilizing equipment.
• Maintain computer maintenance management system (CMMS), including data entry and work order processing.
• • Ensure successful Installation, Wiring, Testing and Run of Soft Starter (> 90 kW motor) in EOT cranes successfully.
• Interpret various aspects to junior technicians in corrective/preventive maintenance, troubleshooting techniques, electronic theory, and skill development.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, inspections, major overhauls and rebuilds, safety tests with maintaining code compliance by using accepted procedures.
• Instruct & guide operators of proper setup, and operation of production equipment and machines.
• Work on various modification tasks to reduce frequent breakdown by applying MOC procedure.
• Fault finding & break down maintenance activities on EOT cranes such as - Pot Tending Assembly Crane, Cathode transportation Crane-230T (ECL, France), Transfer Gantry (320T- ECL), and various capacities KONE cranes.
• Fault finding & break down maintenance activities ofon Dual Pot Micro-controller and motors.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems via connecting wires to PLC network, VFD & Soft starter and other components,component and equipment to identify the cause of breakdown; fix the problems within designated schedules.
• Fault finding & break down maintenance activities on various installations in Gas treatment Centre like blowers, bag filter, dampers, fans, pneumatic conveyor equipped with temperature, pressure and level sensors.
