The Thief Lord, as we all know, has a lot of details even for the simplest things ever. All the chapters each have each a connection to one another, itsit's like a crazy wall, used by detectives who attach the gathered information with pins on a wool string. Every suspect has a part to play, like in The Thief Lord, even the uncommon characters we don’t usually see, it doesn’t mean they all have a uselessuseful role.

One of the chapters that stood out tofor me is chapter 33, pagepages 214 to 217. When Mosca, Riccio, and Prosper arrive home, they wonder where Hornet and Bo hadhave gone. After minutes of shouting and screaming, they decide to bribe them with the money they got. They eventually thoughthave available. They think they wouldwill eventually come out, but when lessthey least expected, it they find a note under Hornet’s mattress was they're saying “Someone at the door. Maybe Police. Meet you at the emergency meeting point. Hornet.” TheySo, they immediately camecome to the thoughtconclusion that it was VictorVictor must have been the one who reported them to the cops. The boys were soare really mad, especially Prosper, since Bo wasis away from him and he wasis afraid about what wouldmight happen, sonext. So, without even thinking, he pulledpulls out a gun, the gun he tookhad taken out of Victor’s pocket. The boys easedthen dissuade him up forfrom his crazing thought ofcrazy thoughts about threatening Victor.
