I believe that force is a source that can make people be aware of more natural wills, while it can also can change the environment as well as theand psychological state of people. In justifying this, let’s takelook at an example. Assume that therethere are some very naughty kids (or 'bad'"bad" adults) who never read books, and what they have been taught by their original parents was that reading bookbooks is not good. Some force ishas to be applied tofor them to read books, otherwise, they willwould get punished. In this wayexample, this force helps these kids change in the way that theythey will think they are morally obligated to read books after reading them, but never sothis is not the case beforehand. These kids have the natural will to read books, so that theythey will agree to read books after doing so, however, they are never possible to be awareunaware of those willing before they do so. When people can find no true legitimacy because of the lack of attention of the will or the lack of knowledge, a force can help to create right in the way of helping people to have a better sense of their natural wills. Also, in the previous example, these people thatwho are forced to read books are morally obligated to read books after they read the book, but not beforehandbefore, because they have none of the reasonsno reason to think that theythey should read books. Maybe Rousseau can reply to this extreme example can be replied by Rousseau thatsaying these people do not have full freedom because they don’t have full knowledge. However, who can guarantee that we have all knowledge in the world and are aware of all the natural wills we have? As farlong as the answer is no, we need things like a force to help us find right in the world.
