I will discuss the topic of death that occurs inin relation to this book.
The first accident wasconcerned the dog., Oscar was his name. The dog means too muchmeant a lot to Arnold and, he was his best friend. Arnold tells us how his dog Oscar was sick and he needed to be taken to the vet, but they couldn't because they didn't have enough money. They decided to kill the dog. Becauseinstead, because he was suffering and they had no other solution. So Arnold's dad shot the dog, because they didn’t want the doghim to suffer more than he’she already sufferinghad.

When Arnold heard that his dog had been killed. After Oscar died, Arnold was very depressed but Rowdy helped him and took him out of that depression.


The second accident wasinvolved his grandmother.
Arnold had a grandmother, who was a kind person and she knew all the people in the Rezrez. When he decided to move to Reardan, only his grandmother thought that was a good idea. Everybody loved her, and she loved everybody in return. Grandmother had beenThe grandmother was killed by a drunk driver whenwho hit her as she walkedwas walking home from the Spokane Center one day. AtShe died at the hospital, grandmother died during emergency surgery. But before she died, she wanted to forgive the drunk driver who killed her. GrandmotherThe grandmother was a very good person. TheHer last wish was forgiven byto forgive the person who killed her. The people in the rez had ignored himthe killer and pushed him. But around at first, but they stopped after theirthe grandmother died. Theybecause they realized that he was in enough pain already.
