Please find the attached files Library- wind tunnel test proposals and the comprehensive table of them.
We have requested proposalproposals from two companies: EDS and FTI Wacker.
EDS is a company within Istanbul Technical University, with which we have worked together for the museum project in Istanbul. Their prices are generally lower than the other companies, because of their low personnel costs. They have been working a lot of project nowadayson quite a few projects lately. Hence, they need more than 8 weeks to prepare a wind tunnel study, after delivering the library model.
On the other hand, FTI Wacker is a forceful company which works in international projects. Their offer is 26.500 Euro on their proposal, but we have talked again with them to reduce the price, with their last price isbeing 20.000 USD. FTI company’s schedule is 6 weeks.
EDS’s schedule is not appropriate for our project schedule. For this reason, we can proceed with FTI Wacker company.
